Sweetheart

I have Krissy back again and she is so much more self assured then when I fostered her the first time. She is a doll, she's no longer scared of things, she hasn't eaten anything except food, still accident free. She is a bit of a shadow dog. I am also fostering Addie and she is Krissy's shadow and likes to sleep next to her and Krissy lets her share the bed. The only "problem" is once you start petting her she doesnt want to let you stop. She is just about perfect.

Adjusting to retirement

Krissy is part scared rabbit, part goat and totally sweet and funny and loving. When I brought her home she was scared going up the 3 deck stains, going down the stairs on the other side of the deck, coming into the house, staying in the house. Then I fed her and that helped settle her down a little. She actually slept thru the first night but after that she decided she wanted to play with toys in the middle of the night but she hasn't done that the last couple of nights. She had her first M&G on Saturday and would not walk into the store. She had to be carried in and out and never fully stepped off the small rug she was standing on. The biggest issue we are having is that she is part goat. She doesn't just pick up and tear things up, she actually eats stuff. She has eaten parts of toys, paper, socks, a bandana and put 3 large holes in a pair of fleece pants with no scraps anywhere. I am trying to keep all items off the floor but she seems to find things I have missed. I'm not making her sound like a catch but she really is, she is just young. She has settled in and is happy, bouncy, loving, loves belly rubs and butt scratches, plays with the non-grey resident hound and totally ignores the bird. I almost forgot to mention the best part - almost 2 weeks and not a single accident in the house and she crates easily for a cookie.
